[July 15, 2026, Dubai] H.E. Amb. Prof. Abdulsalam Al Madani, Chairman of INDEX Holding and Rotating Ambassador for the GCC region at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, paid an official visit to the 9th National Service Career Fair, held from July 15 to 17 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) in Expo City Dubai.

The fair was organized under the patronage of the National Service and Reserve Authority (NSRA), affiliated with the UAE Ministry of Defence, and organized by INDEX Conferences & Exhibitions, a subsidiary of INDEX Holding. The event connects young men and women who have completed or are currently undertaking national service with employment and further education opportunities. This year’s edition brought together more than 55 government and private entities and over 9 universities, with attendance expected to exceed 20,000 visitors. The opening ceremony was presided over by Brigadier Ibrahim Nasser Al Alawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence, with Brigadier Issa Rashid Al Muhairi, Director General of the NSRA, also in attendance.

During his tour of the exhibition, Al Madani reviewed the recruitment information and vocational training programs offered by participating organizations, showing particular interest in career transition programs designed to help national service graduates enter the labor market, as well as initiatives linking participants to university admission pathways.

In his capacity as Rotating Ambassador for the GCC region at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, Prof. Almadani reportedly used the visit as an opportunity to meet with officials and discuss avenues for cooperation, underscoring that stable youth employment contributes directly to community stability and development.

“The National Service Career Fair continues to grow in scale each year, providing tangible career opportunities for national service youth,” Almadani said. “INDEX Holding will continue to support youth employment initiatives through its ongoing cooperation with the Ministry of Defence and the National Service and Reserve Authority.”
